Purchase an 18-month certificate of deposit today and if interest rates increase during the term, notify us to increase your rate. The higher rate will be in effect for the remainder of the CD term. If rates go down, you keep the rate you locked in when you opened the CD.
There may be a penalty for early withdrawal. Upgrade option may be exercised once during the 18-month term. CD is automatically renewable.
